Is time for ink lining, many people asked me what I'd be using for ink lining, normally I would use colors from Tamiya and thin it out with zippo lighter fluids. For colors from Tamiya, I'd mainly choose black, but sometimes you can choose different colors as well, I use silver for some portions for this project.
One thing good about using this Tamiya color is because it is a Echimal base color, you can just easily clean it up with Zippo lighter fluids again if the line is out of alignment, it would not wipe the painting off.
Then now we have to do some detailing job....some places you will need to use small brushes and paint with your bare hand, especially for those small places where your air brush couldn't reach.
The rim as well, your air brush could not make a nice round turn with spraying...therefore it is time to be polishing up your hand brushing skills....
How were you able to paint the feet? Did you strip the blue paint first?
ReplyDeletei just spray the new paint on the parts directly and dry brush with silver color...
