Kamen Rider Agito ~ One of the most significant kamen rider character in the Kamen Rider Series, to be honest I do not like the story of this series, but I have to admit that the rider design of this character is attractive and looks awesome. Agito has three transformation forms, and the burning form is one of the most powerful form that he will transform when facing enemies with powerful strength.
Bandai had issues with the Agito normal form (or called earth form) around 5 years ago, the fans were waiting for the other two forms to be issued but there were no news apart from the first one. Finally bandai announced the burning form last year and the figure is for sale early this year.
By adopting the new technology, the figure looks more proportional and character accurate. Out of the box it looks muscular and powerful, I guess he is the biggest Shf rider among all others at this moment, it's a surprise that Bandai really did a good job this time.
From that close up you can see the patterns on his chest, something like the vent effect show up due to the muscular expansion. The paint job is flawless, red and sliver color applied with the gloss finish while the matted finish applied on the black part. As usual, he has very beautiful yellow crystal eyes as well.
The articulation is average, even though the elbow is equip with double joint, but due to the design of the body, the arm can only go no further than 90 degree.
One of the things that I wanted to highlight is the Henshin belt, the Crystal stone in the middle is beautifully done, the paint job is nicely done as well on this small belt.
The lower part is movie accurate as well.
The accessories come with a pair each of the closed hands, open hands and grasping hands. For weapons, you have some kind of a double joint sword in open and close forms.
The lower body articulation is better, you can easily manipulate the knees to a down pose with his weapon.
I remember him throwing this close form weapon towards the enemy... it is like a spinning sword in the air..
In conclusion, this is a great figure that you must have if you are a Mask Rider Fan. My friend said the shining form is being displayed on the rack as I am writing this blog, hopefully I could get hold of the shining form next month.
