Finally, I've been able to grab this figure immediately once I know this master piece arrived at my regular toy shop. As most of the SRC collector will know, GAOFIGHGAR is one of the most popular character in GAOGAIGAR series and it's even quite active in SUPER WAR GAMES. I like this character better than the later simply because the design is much more interesting as it was designed base on the new GAO machine rather than the old fashion vehicle.
The box art is fantastic, the glossy finish makes it look grand.
The back is all the poses you can replicate with this figure.
Out of the box, you have two layers of packaging, a pair of open hands, grabbing hand, Hell&Heaven hand, expand drill blade and a pair of transparent green pieces effect parts.
If you think this guy is using the same counter part from GAOGAIGAR, then you are wrong, this guy is far better than GAOGAIGAR, let's take a look in detail...
The head is tinny as usual, but the sculpting is nicely done, if you compare it with GAOGAIGAR you will notice there are some slight differences in the eyes, mask and thruster on both sides of the mask. The paint job is awesome, I hardly find any flaws from this point, good job Bandai.
The forearms and the skirt armor on the lower body is using the same mold as GAOGAIGAR I believe.
The shoulder is a new part, simply because the design is different..
The major improvement on this guy is on the shoulder joints, that are presented in die cast rather PC joint like GAOGAIGAR that keeps popping out whenever you try to move it too often, which is quite annoying.
The hip joints are made out of die cast too, this prevented the "dropping effect" of both legs when you do the flying pose with your stand like how the previous GAOGAIGAR did. The major die cast parts are concentrate on the legs, making the figure feel heavy and solid.
Very detail at the back of the leg, the whole leg is a new mold.
The part in the center of the chest can be taken out, which allows you to remove the cover on the lower body, the inner energy radiator will show up to replicate the scene of the Photon Knuckle move.
The small little cover can be taken out.
Second layer of the package include the Jet machine, and two piece of Photon Knuckle effect part.
The edge of the wing can be opened, the green crystal piece will be exposed.
Action pose....DRILL ATTACK!!
PROTECTOR SHELL!!
PHOTON KNUCKLE!! It comes with parts for two different effects, you will be able to form double photon knuckle this way.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it comes with a special hand for you to form a hand shake movement with GENESIS GAOGAIGAR. Since some counter parts are using the same mold as the GAOGAIGAR -- the GOLDEN HAMMER it is possible to apply that on him as well. Overall, this is a very nicely displayed piece, it is a refined toy in terms of articulation, sculpting, paint job and quality. The down side is that the size scale is slightly small considering its high price tag. Is a must have item for the die hard fans of the BRAVE KING series, otherwise, you can skip it.
